Just got back from a very busy day at Adtech. This incredibly busy show had a whole host of seminars on all the latest trends related to digital marketing.
We had very interesting discussions regarding the benefits and cost saving associated with online content advertising. The debate at the IAB round table regarding "the internets most engaging channel" was lively. The statistics on what kinds of digital media people choose to block and which they choose to interact with and how they interact was really interesting. As were the discussions we had about peoples general online behaviour and the way they interact with online etailers and issues they face making purchases of goods via mobile devices.
The session on online advertising, KPI and search and the available Excel 2007 plugins by Micorsoft was very well presented.
Finally we spent a lot of the show researching how to improve the delivery and how to optimise email marketing campaigns.
